Permission of Definitive Permanence in Quality of Employee of a Resident Relative Legal foundation

Decree reform and 1960 Law 16. Executive decree 52 of the 19th February of 2003.

Candidates:
Can ask for the Definitive Permanence with Right to Panamanian Certificate in quality of Employee of a resident relative, who have previously obtained the Provisional Permission of Permanence under this category.

Requirements:

  • Transaction Membership card.
  • Medical certificate of Good Health sent within the three (3) months previous to the date of presentation. (It must have date, company’s signature and stamp with the name, code and record number of the doctor).

  • Power of attorney at law and Request
    • Power: Granted by the employee if he is of legal age or its parents if she is a minor.
      • Complete Information of the person interested:
        • Name,
        • Nationality,
        • Exact address,
        • Name and Nationality of the parents,
        • Telephone numbers,
        • Email address.
      • General Information of the Lawyer
        • Office’s Address,
        • Fax and Telephone numbers,
        • Email address.
      • Tax stamp of value of USD$4.00 by page.
      • The Power will have to personally appear before the civil employee of the National Management of Migration and Naturalization or with the note of Personal Presentation before a Public Notary.
    • Request:
      • Complete and general information of the principal.
      • Complete and general information of the lawyer.
      • Complete and general information of the checks that are contributed:
        • Number of the Check,
        • Name of the Bank,
        • Date,
        • Amount.
        • List and identify the documents that are enclosed
        • Expose the foundations in fact and of right. 
        • Tax stamp of value of USD$4.00 by page.
  • Passport of the country of origin with a minimum validity of six (6) months of each one of the applicants.
  • Photocopy of the passport of each applicant.
  • Two (2) photos membership card size of each one of the applicants.
  • Letter of the resident in which the person in charge becomes of the relative to whom will protect as dependant and will assume the obligation to provide food, room, health, education (if its the case), and other expenses in general including the commitment to assume the repatriation if its necessary. This letter must express the telephones and home address and place of work where the responsible resident is located.
  • Proof of economic solution of the resident:
    • Declaration of Rent updated and authenticated by Management of Income, with its respective receipt of payment. The resident must have a minimum taxable rent of FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS (USD$500.00) monthly plus SEVENTY FIVE DOLLARS (USD$75.00), additional by each dependant.
    • Letter of Work updated with its respective checkbook of payment or card of the Institute of Social Security, where minimum entrance of the resident is observed is of FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS (USD$500.00) monthly plus SEVENTY FIVE DOLLARS (USD$75.00), additional by each employee.
    • Letter of updated Banking Reference, only if Fixed account by a non smaller period of a year is controlled on credit, in where this Fixed Term generates in monthly interests the minimum rent of FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS (USD$500.00) monthly plus SEVENTY FIVE DOLLARS (USD$75.00), additional by each employee.
  • Photocopy of the effective personal identity card authenticated by the Civil Registry or Photocopy of the Membership card of Definitive Permanence of the Resident.
  • If it has less than twenty-five (25) years of age:
    • To contribute certification of studies, of institutions approved by the Ministry of education that credits its condition of student.
  • Paz y Salvo (good standing document) of the employee and the resident.
