Extension of the Permission of Special Temporary Visitor

Legal foundation: Decree of #363 Cabinet of 17 of December of 1970 and the #236 Decree of 16 of June of 1971.
Approximated time of process: 15 business days.

Requirements:

  • Provisional Id.
  • Medical certificate of Good Health sent within the three (3) months previous to the date of presentation. (It must have date, company’s signature and stamp with the name, code and record number of the doctor).
  • Power of attorney at law and Request.

  • Complete Information of the person or people interested:
    ▫ Name,
    ▫ Nationality,
    ▫ Exact address,
    ▫ Name and Nationality of the parents,
    ▫ Telephone numbers,
    ▫ Email address.
  • General Information of the Lawyer
    ▫ Office’s Address,
    ▫ Fax and Telephone numbers,
    ▫ Email address.
  • Tax stamp of value of USD$4.00 by page.
  • The Power will have to appear personally before the civil employee
    (a) of the National Management of Migration and Naturalization or with
    the Note of Personal Presentation before Public Notary.

EXTENSIONS

  • Request:
    • Complete and general information of the applicants and its dependants.
    • Complete and general information of the lawyer.
    • Complete and general information of the checks that are contributed:
      • Number of the Check,
      • Name of the Bank,
      • Date,
      • Amount.
    • List and identify the documents that are enclosed.
    • Expose the foundations in fact and of right in which it sustains the request of prorogues.
    • Tax stamp of value of USD$4.00 by page.
  • Passport of the country of origin with a minimum validity of six (6) months of each applicant.
  • Photocopy of the passport of each applicant.
  • Two (2) photos membership card size of each applicant.
  • Sworn declarationon of Personal Antecedents.
  • Letter of Work, in paper letterhead of the company, emitted by the First House of the company that contracts it to work as an executive at director-operative level where he determines following:
    • That a wage superior to ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS(USD$1,000.00) and which does Not come from a Panamanian source (must detail the source and forms of the payments);
    • That the company takes responsibility to cover the expenses of petitioner and who commits itself to inform to National Office of Migration and Naturalization of the cease of operations of the company or of the cease or conclusion of the contractual relation with the executive who applies to this visa and a is committed to repatriate it, once it lets be to his service.
  • Bank Reference letter sent by a local bank, in favor of company or of the executive foreigner who applies to this visa (must to have an account in where it receives his wage or honorary originating of the outside).
  • Provisional Id. or the nearest one to expired.
