Visa of Temporary Visitor in Quality of Student to be Religious. Key: VT-ER

 

 

Legal foundation: 1ero, numeral article 5, literal C, 14 article and article 41, numeral 3, of the Decree Law of 30th of June of 1960, Decree Law #13 of 20 of September of 1965 and the Law 6ta of 5 of March of 1980.

Approximated time of process: 2 to 4 months.

Candidates:
Those foreigners whom they will embrace as a career, religious life and that day shift in time complete.

Requirements:

  • Transaction Membership card.
  • Medical certificate of Good Health sent within the three (3) months previous to the date of presentation. (It must have date, company’s signature and stamp with the name, code and record number of the doctor).
  • Power of attorney at law and request.

VISAS OF TEMPORARY VISITORS

    • Power:
      • Complete Information of the person or people interested:
        • Name,
        • Nationality,
        • Exact address,
        • Name and Nationality of the parents,
        • Telephone numbers,
        • Email address.
      • General Information of the Lawyer
        • Office’s Address,
        • Fax and Telephone numbers,
        • Email address
      • Tax stamp of value of USD$4.00 by page.
      • The Power will have to appear personally before civil employee of the National Office of Migration and Naturalization or with the Note of Personal Presentation before a Public Notary.
    • Request:
      • General and complete information of the applicants and dependants.
      • Complete and general information of the lawyer.
      • Complete and general information of the checks that are contributed:
        • Number of the Check,
        • Name of the Bank,
        • Date,
        • Amount.
      • List and identify the documents that are enclosed.
      • Expose the foundations in fact and of right. 
      • Tax stamp of value of USD$4.00 by page.
  • Background Record of the country of origin or of country where it has resided interested last the two years. If the person interested has two or more years of continuous residence in Panama he is free to present this document.
  • Passport of the country of origin with a minimum validity of six months of each applicant.
  • Photocopy of the passport of each applicant.
  • Two (2) photos membership card size of each applicant.
  • Sworn declarationon of Personal Antecedents.
  • Certified Check or of Management by the amount of one hundred dollars (USD$100.00) in favor of the National Treasure.
  • If the student is minor, is required:
    • Authorization in writing of the parents in favor of responsible resident. This can be granted in the country of origin, for which it must properly be added or authenticated. If the father or mother of the student they find in Panama, can grant the authorization before a Public Notary.
    • Birth Certificate properly added or authenticated.
    • Photocopy of the effective membership card of the responsible resident or photocopy of the effective personal identity card, authenticated by the Civil Registry.
    • Certification of the Training center where it does to consist the following information:
      • The name, nationality and number of passport of interested,
      • Name and address of its parents,
      • Condition of student,
      • To specify the studies that are going to study,
      • Time that lasts the religious studies.
  • Letter of the Bar signed by the head of the Bar Metropolitan in which the Church becomes person in charge of the student and it asks for the extension of the visa.
  • Copy of the Receipt of Matriculation extended to the student monk, authenticated by the Training center respective.
