Visa of Special Temporary Visitor
Key: VT-1

Legal fundaments: Decree of #363 Cabinet of 17 of December of 1970 and the #236 Decree of 16 of June of 1971.

Approximated time of process: 15 working days.

Candidates:

He grants himself to those executive foreigners solely of director-operative level,
that enters the country temporarily and whose income come from companies
that they abroad have his First House and Offices Branches or of Representation
in Panama, whose works  they have his desired effects abroad.
The applicant can include in his request, as dependants, to the minor spouse andchildren who wish to reside temporarily in the country

Requirements:

  • Transaction Membership card.
  • Medical certificate of Good Health sent within the three (3) months previous to the date of presentation. (It must have date, company’s signature and stamp with name, code and license of the doctor).
  • Power of attorney and Request.

      • Tax stamp of value of USD$4.00 by page.
      • The Power will have to appear personally before civil employee (a) of the National Management of Migration and Naturalization or with the Note of Personal Presentation before Public Notary.

    • That the person interested is executive or representing a director-operative level of the company, specifying and detailing to the functions in quality of executive whom the foreigner is going to develop in our country;
    • That a wage superior to the thousand dollars happens ($1, 000,00) and that he himself does Not come from source Panamanian (is due to detail the source and forms of payments);
    • That the company takes responsibility to cover expenses of the petitioner and who commits itself to inform to the National Management of Migration and Naturalization of the cease of operations of the company or the cease or conclusion of the contractual relation with executive who applies to this visa and commits a to repatriate it, once he lets be to his service;
    • Term by which esteem that the executive it will remain in the national territory.
  • Certification of the existence of the company in the country of origin, equivalent to the Personal identification document Function and position of agent Legal that sends the Public Registry or Certificate emitted by the Public Registry of Panama, in which put record of which the company mother, is registered formally in our country detailing the address in foreigner and other pertinent information (dignitaries, proxies, legal address, etc.).
